Ellis Water Well Drilling Pump Repair and Water Filtration

Before you call

• ✓Describe what you're seeing, not what you've diagnosed. "No water at the faucets since 9 a.m." is more useful than "I think the pump burned out." Let the contractor work from your observations.
• ✓Have your property address and approximate well location ready. If you know when the well was drilled, the depth, or who did the work, mention it — that context speeds up the first call.
• ✓Ask for a written scope before any work begins. A complete install includes drilling, casing, pump, pressure tank, wiring, startup, and testing. A service call should state what's being inspected, what parts might be replaced, and what the trip charge covers.
• ✓Ask what happens if the well doesn't produce enough water. Dry-hole and low-yield policy varies. Get it in writing — including what you'd owe and what options are available — before drilling starts.
• ✓Verify license, insurance, and permit responsibility directly. Confirm active license status with your state agency. Ask who handles permit applications for your county or jurisdiction. Request a current certificate of insurance.
• ✓Clarify access, disturbance, and cleanup expectations before the rig arrives. Ask about equipment access routes, where drilling spoil goes, who is responsible for yard restoration, and whether there's a separate cost for site cleanup.
