FindWaterWellDrillers.com is a directory that helps homeowners and property owners connect with water well drilling contractors across the United States. This page explains what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and who we share it with. We keep this straightforward because we think you deserve to know exactly what happens with your data.

What We Collect

Contact form

When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the message you write. We also capture the time you submitted the form and the page you were on when you submitted it. If you check the optional SMS consent box, we record that you agreed to receive a text message. That box is unchecked by default — we never assume consent.

Quote request forms

When you submit a quote request, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, ZIP/city/state, the service needed, urgency, project notes, consent choices, the source page or listing that led to the request, UTM/referrer details, submission time, and basic anti-spam signals. Quote requests go to FindWaterWellDrillers.com, not directly to a listed contractor unless we later route the request after review.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find and use the site. GA4 collects page views, the source that referred you here, and general device information. We have not enabled cross-site tracking or advertising features. Google anonymizes IP addresses before storing them per their standard configuration.

Server logs

Vercel, the company that hosts this site, automatically logs incoming requests including IP addresses. Those logs are used for rate limiting and abuse prevention and are retained according to Vercel's own data retention policy.

Contractor listing data

Information about contractors in our directory — business names, addresses, phone numbers, license numbers — comes from publicly available business records and, in some cases, information contractors have submitted directly. We do not collect personal information from contractors through the site itself.

How We Use Your Information

When you submit the contact form, your information is forwarded to the site operator so they can respond or help connect you with a contractor. When you submit a quote request and give consent, we may share or route that request to relevant well drilling, pump, water testing, inspection, or water treatment providers so they can contact you about the work. We do not add you to a marketing list or sell your personal information for unrelated advertising.

If you checked the SMS consent box, you may receive one text message related to your inquiry. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Who We Share Your Information With

When you submit the contact form, your data flows through a small set of services:

• Resend — a transactional email service that delivers your inquiry to the site operator. Your email address appears in the Reply-To header so the operator can respond to you directly.
• Twilio — an SMS platform that sends the site operator a text with your name, phone number, and your SMS consent status.
• Google reCAPTCHA v3 — runs on contact and quote request forms to filter out automated bot submissions. Google receives your page URL, browser information, and IP address as part of this check. Google's own privacy policy governs what they do with that data.
• Vercel — our hosting provider, which logs request data including IP addresses for infrastructure and security purposes.
• Google Analytics 4 — collects anonymized analytics data as described above.

We may also use Supabase to store quote request records and source attribution for lead management. If you consent through a quote request form, we may share your request and contact details with relevant service providers who may be able to help. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information for unrelated advertising.

SMS Messaging Program

Checking the SMS consent box on the contact form is an explicit opt-in. We will not send you a text unless you check that box. If you later want to stop receiving texts, reply STOP to any message we send. Standard message and data rates from your wireless carrier may apply. Message frequency is low — typically one message per inquiry you submit.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Email messages sent through Resend are retained in the site operator's inbox until they are manually deleted. SMS messages sent through Twilio are retained according to Twilio's data retention policy. Server logs are retained according to Vercel's policy. Quote request records may be retained in our lead database while we evaluate, route, audit, or delete them. You can request deletion by emailing us at the address below.

Your Rights — Access and Deletion

If you want to know what information we have about you, or if you want us to delete it, email us at dalturainc@gmail.com from the same address you used when you submitted the form. We will respond within 30 days. If a contractor wants their listing updated or removed from the directory, they can reach us the same way.

Children's Privacy

This site is intended for adults looking for professional contractor services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we learn that we have received information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to This Policy

If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to check back periodically if you want to stay current.
